Ari Shaffir
Ari Shaffir
Stand-up comedian and actor Ari Shaffir describes his comedy as a puppet show, but way filthier and without the puppets. He grew up orthodox Jewish, spent 2 years in a yeshiva in Israel, and came back to America to lose his religion and become a comic. Now with two hour standup specials and his own late-night TV series coming up, Ari is a "gifted comic unyielding in his art," becoming "a real force to be reckoned with" (LA Weekly).

Ari's second hour standup special Paid Regular premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. His first hour special, Passive Aggressive, premiered on Chill.com in 2013 and premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. His standup album Revenge for the Holocaust was released in 2012 and went to number 1 on iTunes and amazon.com the week of its premiere. Ari's weekly story-telling series This Is Not Happening premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. The show, which originally debuted as a web series on CC.com, features Shaffir and his comedian friends telling hilarious and true stories in front of a live audience at LA's most distinguished gentlemen's club, Cheetahs. Season 2 of This Is Not Happening will premiere in 2016 and it was recently picked up for a third season on Comedy Central.

In addition to his TV and standup projects, Ari also hosts the wildly popular podcast The Skeptic Tank, a weekly interview show where he chats with everyone from parents to comedians to prostitutes "to help better understand humanity and also to make fart jokes." The podcast is consistently among the top-rated podcasts on iTunes and averages over 100,000 downloads per week.

Ari is a regular panel guest on the popular TV series @midnight and has appeared on Comedy Underground with Dave Attell, both on Comedy Central. Alex Pavone
Alex Pavone
lex Pavone’s unique brand of comedy is part rambling insane man, part storyteller, part daredevil. You really never know what’s coming next. One of the more personable comedians, Alex sees the stage as a launching point, instead of a home during his act. Known for walking out into the audience, from tabletop to tabletop, and liberating a few shots along the way, Alex Pavone’s brand of storytelling is one not easily forgotten.

Alex has opened for Bobby Lee, served as a panelist on Video on Trial and MTV’s Cocktales. Making his comedy debut in 2007, Alex Pavone has yet to make it big, but he’s certainly well on his way. To see one of his upcoming performances, check out Best Comedy Tickets’ NYC Comedy Club Schedule where you’ll find uptodate listings. Just be sure to reserve your tickets ahead of time as he has developed a cult following that loves to pack the clubs he performs at all comedy shows in NYC. Alex Pavone is a regular performer at The Stand NYC.
Chanel Ali
Chanel Ali
Chanel Ali is a standup comedian, writer and actress living in New York City. After blossoming on the Philadelphia circuit, she quickly became a crowd favorite with her commanding stage presence and story-telling style. Her observational comedy covers her upbringing, her unique worldview, and the realities of being a polite person in the entertainment industry. Chanel has performed at the Limestone Comedy Festival and the Women in Comedy Festival, and earlier this year she filmed an episode of Night Train with Wyatt Cenac for Seeso.
Tom Cassidy
Tom Cassidy
Tom Cassidy is a comedian who started in Philadelphia at The Laff House Comedy Club (urban clubs spell things wrong due to the deterioration of the public school system) where he became a feature act 2 weeks before the club shut down. After spending a few years in his native land, which has produced many great comedians (Kevin Hart, Tina Fey and up until recently Bill Cosby) he moved to New York City where he performs regularly at clubs, basements and back of bars that vary in quality. He has been featured at The New York, Boston, Staten Island and Hoboken Comedy Festival (placed in the order of respect each festival gets) and has performed at colleges throughout the east coast in beautiful theaters and fluorescent cafeteria's. In addition to performing literally wherever will have him Tom is also a writer who has directed several sketches and short films, including "Babe Ruth Time Traveler" and it's sequel (you can guess what it's called). Tom is also a co-host on the Center City Comedy podcast where he can be found arguing and making fun of his friends on a weekly basis.
Tank Sinatra
Tank Sinatra
Tank is a born and raised New Yorker who’s sarcasm and sincerity come together to create a uniquely disarming brand of comedy. In a medium where plagiarism became the norm, Tank made his name being the first person to build a platform solely on his own original memes, and he continues to be the largest and most prolific meme creator in the world.

The only thing bigger than his biceps is his heart, which becomes apparent through his routine.

He’s been seen on ABC Nightline, Fox 5, PBS, Cheddar, as well as Buzzfeed, Huffintgon Post, Harpers Bazaar, and Elite Daily. Come find out if his online memes translate into real life laughs.
